Last Tube Home
Sharply evocative of tube trips rattling and rolling back up the Northern Line towards Highgate or Bounds Green on the Piccadilly Line in deserted (or choked-full) carriages late at night… (this one's a Central Line train). I can easily hear this image thirty-five years later. And that grainy black and white says my 1970’s and 1980’s to me in ways few other things can do so immediately.
